• BUILT FOR DEEPER BORING — The Rocket Edition extends the proven WEYLAND Settlers Tool concept with a 6.5" long, 1" diameter wood auger for projects that require greater drilling depth. Bore deep into logs and timbers by placing a sturdy branch through the Scotch eye for leverage.
•BUILD WOODEN ROCKET STOVES — Create the deep intersecting bores used to form the internal airflow and fire channel of a wooden rocket stove. The longer auger reaches where compact jointery augers cannot, opening up an entirely new range of practical campcraft projects.
•MORE THAN A ROCKET STOVE AUGER — Built for bushcraft woodworking, field jointery, camp furniture, shelters and traditional outdoor construction. The 1" cutting diameter makes clean mortises while the Scotch eye provides leverage without requiring a separate handle.
•MATCHING 1" PEG MAKER — Turn natural branches into matching wooden pegs for field construction. Shape a branch through the 1" cutting eye to create joinery sized to the hole bored by the auger—useful for building with natural materials when hardware isn't practical.
•HIGH CARBON STEEL CONSTRUCTION — Built from high carbon steel with a purpose-driven design for serious field woodworking. The Rocket Edition includes a fitted leather belt sheath to protect the tool during storage and transport, with WEYLAND construction designed for dependable use at camp, on the trail or in the workshop.
